This page outlines the policies, guidelines, and terms that support a smooth, respectful, and safe experience for every client. By scheduling an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to the policies listed below.

Cancellation, Rescheduling & Late Arrivals
I respectfully ask for 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This allows me to offer your reserved time to another client who may be waiting. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, same-day changes, and no-shows will be charged in full to the card on file.
If no card is on file, an invoice will be sent and must be paid within 24 hours and before scheduling another appointment.
True emergencies are handled case-by-case with understanding and discretion.
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened out of respect for the next scheduled client, and the full session fee remains due.
Payment, Deposits & Accepted Methods
Payment is due at the time of service. Accepted payment methods include credit and debit cards, HSA and FSA cards, cash (exact amount only), and Lotus Room Massage & Wellness gift certificates.
A valid card is required to book appointments online. Cards are stored securely through Vagaro and are only charged in accordance with the cancellation policy above.
Client Health, Safety & Conduct
Your health, comfort, and safety are my top priorities. Please reschedule your appointment if you are sick, have a fever, or have been recently ill. Massage is not appropriate when you are unwell, and coming in while symptomatic may put others at risk.
Please inform me if you are pregnant, post-surgical, undergoing oncology treatment, or managing chronic or complex medical conditions so your session can be safely adapted.
Professional draping is required for all sessions. Any inappropriate or sexual behavior will result in immediate termination of the session and full payment will be required.
Massage therapy is intended for relaxation and therapeutic purposes only and is not a substitute for medical care, diagnosis, or prescription.
Modalities, Tools & Expected Reactions
Certain therapeutic tools and modalities—such as cupping, gua sha scraping, or hot stones—may be used during your session. Normal responses may include temporary marks, mild soreness, warmth or redness, and skin sensitivity.
Cupping marks may last several days or up to two weeks depending on your body’s natural response.
Privacy, Confidentiality & Record Security
Your personal information, health history, and session notes are kept strictly confidential and stored securely through Vagaro. Only your therapist has access to your records. Information is never shared unless legally required or with your written permission.

Photo, Video & Testimonial Consent
Lotus Room Massage & Wellness may occasionally request testimonials, photos, or short video clips for marketing or educational purposes. Declining will not affect your ability to receive services.

You release Lotus Room Massage & Wellness, LLC and Chloe Culley, LMT from liability for injuries related to massage or bodywork services except in cases of proven negligence.
